Episode 9: Services and Products You Should Never Skimp On

https://anchor.fm/finding-subjects-podcast/episodes/Episode-9-Services-and-Products-You-Shouldnt-Cheap-Out-On-e1jpve3

Hey, Folks. A lot has changed with the podcast.

After a long time of going solo, I brought in two life long friends to share this crazy adventure with.

I’d like to introduce you to Chico and Bink!

Chico (Bob) and I, worked together at the US Postal Service for many years at the counter selling stamps and messing with just about everyone that would come into the post office for postage and a laugh.

Bink (John) has been a long time friend of mine for over forty years as well. His uncanny knowledge of everything including factoids, trivia, music, etc…has been an incredible asset to the show.

With the addition of both of these guys, I believe the entertainment value of Finding Subjects Podcast has been improved greatly and with that, I sidelined most of my previous 165+ shows to give these guys a fair shake at a revamped listening experience for you all.

If you like comedy and all things concerning life in America, growing up here in the USA, being a dad, a husband, a brother, a friend…then you will probably enjoy our banter as we crack ourselves up with some of our outrageous discussions, conversations, and singing.

Please give us a listen, and if you like the show, please share.

Thank you all very much for your time and patience, and I feel finally this show has found it’s groove!

Thank you for listening in advance!

We greatly appreciate your time.

Antares Rocket Launch

Antares rocket launch from NASA’s Wallops Range, Wallops Island, Virginia

My wife and I took a ride down to Wallops Island this weekend to watch the Antares rocket launch from the NASA launch site at Wallops Island range in Virginia.

It was our first time to Wallops to watch a launch, however we did see a nighttime launch from our home a few hundred miles to the north in Pennsylvania, USA.

Lots of people gathered and were not disappointed as we all witnessed a flawless launch on a beautiful but windy day.

The Antares rocket, owned by Northrop Grumman, was loaded with eight thousand pounds of resupplies for the international space station (ISS).

This enthusiastic future astronaut was very excited to be present to watch the launch. It was inspiring to meet him and his parents and I couldn’t help but think of my own children when seeing this young man in his space attire, understanding first hand how important it is to support and encourage our children’s creativity.

It will take the Antares two days to catch up and rendezvous with the ISS which at that time, astronauts with ‘catch’ the vessel with the extending ‘Canada’ arm and retrieve the payload.

For more information on future launches visit the link below.

VAF- 106 Gladiators

It’s no secret I am fascinated with aircraft of all types. Which is why when we head to Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA, I get amped up knowing there is a good chance I am going to spot aircraft I don’t normally see where I live back in Pennsylvania.

In this video, two F-18’s returning from training out over the Atlantic Ocean.

Sorry for the shaky video, I just had my morning coffee! 😂💪🏻🇺🇸

Have A Great Day

Watching the sun come up this morning and I just wanted to say hello to you and to have a nice day!

It’s a quick five minute message!!

Grand Tetons Moose

Came across this beautiful creature in the Grand Tetons, Wyoming.

It’s what everyone is searching for out there, a glimpse of wildlife in its natural environment.

It’s also crazy how close people will get to these animals in order to get the shot they want.

I found solace in understanding I don’t have to outrun these wild animals if they turn aggressive, I only have to outrun the humans who got too close in the first place.

Exploring Iceland

There’s previous podcast episodes on this very trip and we recorded from this very scene (note Zoom H-6 Recorder in hands), beautiful heading out on the Zodiac to explore icebergs and glaciers.

Check out these Iceland episodes on our previous posted shows!

Have a great day!

Finding Subjects Podcast

Fear…

Working on the anxiety. Social anxiety is something I’ve always had although mostly everyone who’s ever known me would not believe it for a second.

Doing a podcast talking to thousands of people. Playing music in a band on stage back in the day, not the places you’d think someone with this issue would be participating.

But it’s true. I feel very awkward in front of people. When in the band, singing, playing guitar, I couldn’t wait until I was off the stage.

This video is about overcoming that. It’s the beginning of a process of me dealing with what I’ve dealt with my entire life, GAD, sometimes paralyzed by this anxiety.

Fear…stage fright if you will…public speaking…all of it…inside I’m yelling at myself to get off the stage…shut the camera off…and simultaneously I’ve got my hand on my back saying ‘You got this, Dude! One step at a time!’

I’m Tony, by the way, the face behind the voice of Finding Subjects Podcast.

You can click on the menu about and find my show. I talk about these types of life events.

Thank you for your time and apologies in advance for any mistakes I make!

👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
