Or simply Chrysaora Quinquecirrha?
Say that name three times fast!
I could watch this creature swim all day, fluid, smooth, quiet, appearing almost to float in space, its sting not necessarily poisonous enough to kill a human unless an allergic reaction occurs.
So much of our ocean is unexplored, life forms we know nothing about lurking in the depths. I often look above, but I also think about what’s below just as much, especially when I’m swimming in it.

I took a boat ride off the coast of Sumatra, and when I peered over the edge of the boat, I could see hundreds of pale pink jellyfish the size of basketballs. It was both awe-inspiring and terrifying.
I hear that, Traci. Must have been awesome to see! Thank you for sharing. Very cool! Tony
I don’t even want to say it once fast!
Agree – I wouldn’t know where to start with that! Great photo though. I really like the blue background.
