“Dad…um, you’re only going to buy milk and bread,” my youngest daughter laughed.
“I know that, but I’m just reminding her of how lucky she is to have me,” I said, in my best Liverpudlian accent.
“You’re so weird,” my daughter said, laughing at me.
“Life’s too serious not to be a little goofy sometimes. Humor is essential,” I winked.
Today is a very good day, for no particular reason than we’re still here.

Well from where I´m standing you are a very happy man
I’m aiming to appreciate life fully, the big things as well as the little, hence, the reason for this blog, to constantly remind myself as well as others there are so many things in life to be happy about while simultaneously attempting to overcome the adversities of life that affect us all.
I am very thankful for everything in my life, both good and bad, and I try daily to appreciate it all because I realize nothing is constant, change affects everything and everyone, and while I can, I’m attempting to subliminally project that message to myself as well as anyone who stops by here, to take one day at a time, appreciate the small things, and live life to its fullest. Happiness is a state of mind. I mostly try to visit that state often, but like everyone else, I sometimes get lost and have to whip out the GPS to find my way back. lol.
