It was the craziest thing I’ve ever witnessed. The tiger locked his eyes on the man talking on his cellphone while everyone else was trying to listen to the wildlife expert speak about the tiger species and how they are endangered and their habitat is being reduced by incredible amounts.
People looked over apprehensively at the large intimidating man as he spoke loudly, obnoxiously, using offensive language and being totally disruptive.
The tiger glanced over at me and I at him, as if we were on the same page and it was then it happened… I shouted a command…
Translated from Swahili, that’s basically ‘Sick em, boy!’ ‘Attack’!
The powerful tiger leaped twelve feet from where he sat, pouncing onto the man who crashed backwards onto the ground, the cats teeth firmly gripping the mans throat as the people screamed and ran.
The tiger held him there, glancing back over at me as I shook my head no, subliminally suggesting to the carnivore not to go any further.
My friend, the tiger, had obeyed me and silenced the ignorant man talking loudly in public on his cell phone. The message was sent, the man received it loud and clear.
Suddenly I shouted to the tiger …
Translated, that’s basically ‘Chill out, dude, let him live!’
The tiger let the man go and the man ran away, his pants soiled as he cried aloud.
Right about then I felt my wife nudge me abruptly…
“Hello, are you listening to this, it’s very interesting. You look like your daydreaming,” she said.
“Oh, yeah, he’s good. Yes, very interesting,” I replied, staring at the big guy who was irritating the hell out of me and everybody else.
I glanced back at the cat, and at that time he really did look over at me, and I grinned, thinking that man really was irritating the tiger as much as he was everyone else, and contemplating how lucky that guy was the tiger was secure behind a thick glass barrier!
Seconds later…he leaped at the glass!
Lesson to be learned: Observe cell phone etiquette in public places. You never know when someone will sick their tiger on you!
Have a great day!
